In this weeks episode of #rightyourownstory I ask the question, are you a black belt or a white belt?
You are probably both, without even realising it.
I also talk about the founder of Judo, Kano Jigaro, who was born in 1860 and died in 1938.
As an old man approaching his death, he had a special message for his students, and its meaning is quite profound!
However, during his life he made it his mission to share Judo with the whole world. This dream continued (and continues) to last beyond his own life.
With its ever growing audience, new members and schools across the world, it was finally accepted as a sport in the 1964 Olympic Games in Tokyo.
I hope you enjoy this episode.
Best wishes,
James
